Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, one of our representatives will meet with you and assist you to your own personal chauffeur who will take you to Negombo. Upon check in at your hotel, you are able to rest, relax and recover from any jet lag. Should you choose to, your chauffeur will show you some of Negombo's sights and sounds including the Dutch churches, remnants of Sri Lankas colonial past. Alternatively you have the option of taking a boat ride along the Dutch canals or enjoying some time on the beach.

You will get the opportunity to visit the mystical fortress that is Sigiriya. The rock temple was built by King Kashyapa who reigned around 5th century.. With a fortress surrounded by the remains of a city complex with gardens, defensive structures, reservoirs and number of brick buildings, Sigiriya lays as a reminder of the grandeur of Sri Lankas ancient civilisation.

After breakfast, enjoy the panoramic view of the rock palace and its surroundings in a hot air balloon. From the air you will be able to understand the complexity of the surroundings of Sigiriya

Destination: Minneriya National Park Drive: Approximately 1 Hour (39 km)

Afterwards journey into Minneriya National Park in a safari jeep. The national park expands for 8889 hectares and is home to wide range of animals and birds. Be sure to keep your eyes open for a special sighting of a herd of wild elephants!

Make your way to Kandy, a world heritage site travelled by many travellers for its beauty, legacy and cultural importance in Sri Lanka. The evening is arranged to visit the temple of tooth relic or the Dalada Maligawa, a place of pilgrim for many locals. Then you will visit the Kandyan Arts and Cultural Center where you will sample Sri Lankas traditional dance and music.

On your fifth day you will take the train to Nuwara Eliya. The high elevation of the hill country brings you a colder climate and lush green forests brimming with vibrancy. Gregorys Lake, Haggala National Park and numerous waterfalls add to the glamour of the city. Walk around the town and you will see remnants of the past through the towns architechure and buildings.

After breakfast you will head to Hortain Plains, the highest plateau in the country and an area rich in biodiversity, Be prepared to see leopards, black napped hares, otters, giant squirrels and many more lowland animals and creatures. It wont take you long to realise that the area is a place brimmed with wide range of wild life activities. You have the option then of returning back into town by bike.

Your next stop will be to Kitulgala. In this small but enchanting town you have the option to go white water rafting or trekking, or for those with extra adrenalin can choose to do both! The Kelaniya River running through the town provides the perfect background for your adventures.

Destination: Negombo via Colombo Drive: Approximately 3 Hours (84 km)

Upon your arrival in Negombo, feel free to go sightseeing and/or shopping around the bustling fishermens city of Negombo.

Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, after breakfast you will depart for the airport in your chauffeur driven vehicle.
